The Ladies 1st team woke early to head to Exeter for another tough game.
With 11.5 players and a range of injuries the first half started with little motivation and some lethargic looking Chard players. Once warmed up we started to look a little more awake and put some pressure on the opposition and even made some appearances in the opposition D.
Despite some strong defending Exeter were able to score 2 goals in the first half.
Following some words of wisdom from the .5 sub and captain Amy Chard came out looking determined and worked tirelessly despite having no opportunity for a rest. The hard work paid off and a lovely strike from Kez met the backboard.
Sadly in our efforts to attack as a team gaps were left at the back and Exeter managed to capitalise twice more in the second half.
Another great effort and disappointing loss for the Ladies.
Player of the match Arabella for a determined effort in midfield and Evs for strong defence.
