Chards poor run continued as they went down to a solitary goal at Bridport. Chard started brightly enough in the first half but did not get into the penalty area to create any real opportunities, the home side slowly came into the game and themselves had some half chances through penalty corners. The second half was mired by two sendings off for the Chard defence and founds were punished in the final third with awards of penalty corners, form one the home side scored. Another goal later was dis-allowed for the home side which gave Chard a chance to pull back, they had a series of penalty corners at the end of the game but the West Dorset was well in control of the resulting shots.
