Chard were looking to get back into the winning ways this week. Steve Mahoney off cruising the high seas , Chard welcomed return of Alan Cheffy and Blaise Marchant making his debut. Chard broke the deadlock first after having most of the play with a goal from George Criddle. Not long after Minehead equalised. That spurred the appearance of super sub Cheffey, who within minutes was on the score sheet with his 2nd attempt..2-1 half time..

Half time talk asked for plenty of use of the width and 2nd half saw plenty with tireless running from Flynn Bowie, Jasper Clements , Joel Handscombe, & Isaac Parris, making use of the subs to keep fresh legs..Luke Bradshaw in goal, there when needed, and the back four of Nigel Parris, Paul Sainsbury, Calum Gilbert & Blaise Marchant keeping it all calm.. The 2 George's Parris & Criddle working the middle of the field, passing the ball out to the runners allowed Chard to play some good passing hockey, this was where Chard 3rd goal came from with Isaac slotting home from the right hand side. The 4th being flicked on by Wheaton from Isaac cross for Cheffey to get his 2nd..Cheffey could of easily had a hatric a bit too quick for the tiring legs. Chard final goal came from a short corner, which after being pinged around the D Jasper was able to slot into left hand corner.

A very good second half, well done all & great to have plenty of supporters on the sidelines.
